  • Cochlear Implant Services: We work with adults and children who have cochlear implants and provide them with follow-up care to ensure they are adjusting properly. We also offer counseling for cochlear implants so we can help your child – and you – feel at ease.
  • Hearing Aid Verification/Real-Ear Measures: Performing real ear measures is the gold standard of hearing aid fitting in our profession. It is important for us to know that your hearing aids are amplifying sound appropriately when they are placed on your ears. We use small microphones and place them in your ears to measure what your hearing aids are doing while they are on your ears. This ensures that your hearing aids are not only amplifying enough sound, but that they are not amplifying too much and damaging your hearing.
  • Hearing Aid Services: We can clean, check, evaluate, and program almost every hearing aid available, even if you did not purchase your hearing aids from us. If you are struggling with your hearing aids, let us determine how we can help you hear better with them.
  • Hearing Aid Batteries and Supplies: We sell Rayovac hearing aid batteries in single packs, and also in bulk for 6 or 12 month supply at reduced pricing! If you need hearing aid supplies such as cleaning tools, domes, wax guards, or battery checkers, we have you covered! If we don't have it in stock, we can order it for you!

Telehealth Services

Telehealth Services at Southeast Kentucky Audiology

Recent events have brought to light how important it is to be able to care for patients remotely. That is why Southeast Kentucky Audiology has implemented a HIPAA compliant and easy to use TeleHealth service. Almost all appointments after the in-person hearing evaluation can be done remotely. If you have questions about your test results, are having issues with your hearing aids or cochlear implants, or have general questions regarding your hearing or balance, we are happy to schedule a TeleHealth appointment for you!

In addition to this, Southeast Kentucky Audiology works with many hearing aid manufacturers who allow for remote programming. This feature is tremendously helpful for patients who are busy and may not be able to take time out of their day to come to the office, or for patients who are homebound. While it is recommended the initial hearing aid fitting be completed in the office, we are now able to offer remote hearing aid fitting for very special circumstances.
