We aren’t concerned with making a profit, we just genuinely want to help you achieve better hearing.
Hearing loss can happen to anyone of any age. About 2-3 out of every 1000 children in the United States has hearing loss. Hearing loss in children can cause developmental delays with speech and learning. Our audiologists have received specialized training in pediatric audiology. They can successfully help manage your child’s hearing loss with hearing aids or cochlear implants.
We provide counseling for patients to encourage proper development of language and communication skills. If your child has hearing loss, then bring them to Southeast Kentucky Audiology. We can safely diagnose their hearing loss and manage it with hearing aids or cochlear implants.
Recent events have brought to light how important it is to be able to care for patients remotely. That is why Southeast Kentucky Audiology has implemented a HIPAA compliant and easy to use TeleHealth service. Almost all appointments after the in-person hearing evaluation can be done remotely. If you have questions about your test results, are having issues with your hearing aids or cochlear implants, or have general questions regarding your hearing or balance, we are happy to schedule a TeleHealth appointment for you!
In addition to this, Southeast Kentucky Audiology works with many hearing aid manufacturers who allow for remote programming. This feature is tremendously helpful for patients who are busy and may not be able to take time out of their day to come to the office, or for patients who are homebound. While it is recommended the initial hearing aid fitting be completed in the office, we are now able to offer remote hearing aid fitting for very special circumstances.
